2ND INTERNATIONAL REFUGEES AND MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE

DESCRIPTION

The intensification of wars, the spread of violence, and the escalation of border control measures have all left many refugees and asylum seekers vulnerable to trauma and stress. The mental health of this community is further aggravated by other challenges, namely integration, resettlement, and the precarious living conditions in host societies. This two-day conference brings together a group of mental health experts from Humanity Crew and other partners to tackle these issues. It provides culturally and socially appropriate tools and strategies to assist refugees in coping with stress and trauma, as well as in cultivating wellness. Whether you are a mental health professional, aid worker, or a volunteer working with refugees, join Humanity Crew to gain the knowledge in mental health issues that are affecting the community, and learn new techniques to deal with them.
